

Dr. Regan, CRNP, is a certified functional medicine practitioner and is licensed in Pennsylvania and Maryland. She is the founder and current president of Functional Health of Lancaster.
An honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Dr. Regan began her clinical career in Philadelphia, PA where she served as a trauma nurse at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After recognizing the majority of her patients’ health and injuries were the result of high-risk behaviors and poor health access, Dr. Regan became motivated to deliver quality healthcare within her community. She completed dual Masters of Science in Nursing in the Community Systems Administration and Family Nurse Practitioner programs at Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA. In addition, Dr. Regan received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from York College of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Health Professions, York, PA, where she was awarded the Linda Pugh Award for Outstanding Clinical Scholarship. Dr. Regan brings over two decades of health care experience to Functional Health of Lancaster and gained previous clinical experience as a primary care provider in a busy internal medicine practice for 10 years.
Dr. Regan is motivated to provide a nurturing patient experience where wellness intersects healthcare. Through evidenced-based and complimentary practices, clinical treatment is elevated to encompass the totality and function of the individual. Health promotion and wellness focuses on positive emotion, intention and action. Wellness is inherent for everyone, regardless of what disease process is experienced. Although Dr. Regan has experience in a wide variety of health areas her special interests include hormonal health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, cardiometabolic dysfunction, gastrointestinal complaints, detox support and autoimmune conditions.
Dr. Regan is board-certified as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner and is a certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has completed advanced training in intravenous supplement therapy, nutrigenomics and bioidentical hormones; she also completed certification in infertility through the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Regan is currently a member of The Institute for Functional Medicine, The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, The Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Regan previously served on the executive board for the Lancaster County Nurse Practitioners and has precept and lectured graduate students at various local colleges. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed professional journals. Dr. Regan enjoys traveling, cooking, the arts, gardening and creating beautiful memories with her family and friends.
